This model of Portacool is very popular for home use as it is extremely versatile. It can be used in the home, on the patio, garage or generally anywhere around the home where it is hot. It is also great for keeping pets cool in summer.
For commercial customers we have found this unit is ideal where workers are in a small area or require individual spot cooling rather than area cooling. This may be useful in a large factory or warehouse where only one worker needs cooling such as a dispatch area or operator station. It is also good for cooling of equipment that may be over heating in high temperature conditions. Mechanical workshops find that a number of smaller units such as the JS 230 is more effective than a large unit as the mechanics can position the unit where it is most effective.
The JS230 can also be adapted for Confined space ventilation or cooling. Due to its compact size and centrifugal fan design, it can be easily adapted to attach a duct for confined space use. Ensuring workers safety in hot confined conditions.

The Jetstream 230 has a centrifugal barrel fan capable of providing cool air for up to 80m2 in the right setup. With around 6-8 hours worth of water in the tank, it can be operated without hose connection. It also has hose connection and float for direct ongoing operation. A powerful variable speed fan, low water pump safety and water level indicator are standard features on the Portacool Jetstream 230. Its tough UV stabilized polyethylene rota-moulded housing has been designed for maximum air velocity and durability in the toughest of conditions. High efficiency 150mm deep bed KUUL Evaporative Cooling media provides the optimum airflow and cooling ratio, providing the optimum KUUL effect. Its simple design allows for easy maintenance access and cleaning. Quick connect electrical components also allow for user servicing in the future. The JS 230 plugs into a standard 10amp GPO and is energy efficient with low power consumption.
